Four-Week Board & Train

Service Description

Four weeks of full-time training in the trainer's home. This program extends beyond just the basics and includes an introduction to more advanced commands while allowing more time to progress on potty and crate training. What We Work On: -Introduction to crate training -Introduction to potty training -Introduction to "sit", "down", & "leave it" -Introduction to leash work and "heel." -Work to reduce play biting behavior -Acclimation to car rides -Socialization with adults, children, other dogs, and cats. What is Included: - Proper transition to owners choice of food - Meet the Teacher: A video consultation between the owner and trainer to answer questions, see the space, get familiar with the supplies used to care for and train the puppy -Report Card: Report Cards will be sent throughout the program so owners can track their puppy's progress. -Open House: A virtual video call once a week for owners to see their puppy, observe the progress they have made on commands, and ask questions. -Field Trips: Puppies will go on at least two outings a week to work on socialization and get acclimated to car rides within a two hour radius of Charlotte. - A Puppy Prep starter bag: Your puppy will go home with a a favorite toy, their favorite teething bones/treats used throughout their training, and more to make their transition easier. - Drop-Off and In-Home Consultation: Drop-off service and an in-home consultation are offered for any owner living within an hour of Charlotte, NC for an additional fee. This is designed to help owners set up their home and supplies and answer any questions in person. If the owner lives 2-3 hours outside of Charlotte, a drop-off and consultation can be arranged on a case by case basis. - 4 Weeks of Virtual Support: For one month after your puppy goes home, the trainer will offer virtual support to ensure the puppy has a smooth transition to their new home. __________________________________________________________ Courses begin on Monday or Friday with flexible drop-off time.
