Masters
Board & Train Program

This program provides a guided journey through your puppy’s most important developmental stages. Puppies begin in the Foundations Program between 10 and 16 weeks of age to establish early skills and routines, and then return for the Core Skills & Manners Program between 6 and 9 months to advance their training and prepare for real-world success. The Masters Program includes priority scheduling for phase 2, virtual support between phases, and all the benefits of our standard Board & Train programs. By committing to this two-phase path, families give their puppies the structure and consistency they need to thrive from the start.

Program Information:

The Masters Program is designed to guide your puppy through their most important developmental stages, ensuring consistency and progress from the very beginning. Puppies begin in the Foundations Program between 10 and 16 weeks of age, where they learn essential house manners, crate comfort, socialization, and early obedience. Later, between 6 and 9 months of age, they return for the Core Skills & Manners Program, where we refine manners, build impulse control, and strengthen reliability in real-world environments.

This two-phase approach allows us to meet puppies exactly where they are in their development. In the first phase, we maximize the critical learning window for socialization and early habit formation. In the second phase, we focus on adolescent challenges — such as pulling on leash, testing boundaries, and struggling with impulse control — while preparing your puppy to handle distractions with confidence. By dividing training into two key stages, we reduce the risk of regression between phases and provide a smoother, more reliable path to success.

Just like our individual programs, puppies in the Masters Program stay in the home of one of our professional trainers, where they receive individualized care and structured training every day. Families receive resources before, during, and after each phase, detailed report cards to track progress, and a full year of virtual support between phases. This ensures that training remains consistent even while your puppy is at home.

The Masters Program requires a minimum of two weeks in each phase, but we highly recommend three weeks in Foundations and three weeks in Core Skills for the best balance of progress and reliability. Three weeks per phase is also our most popular option, as it gives us enough time to establish strong habits in puppyhood and reinforce those habits during adolescence. Families who choose four weeks in each phase often do so for added reliability and confidence, knowing their puppy will return home with thoroughly established routines and behaviors.

It’s important to remember that consistency — both during and after the program — is the key to lasting results. The more time we have to train and reinforce skills across each stage, the stronger and more reliable your dog’s behavior will be, and the less likely they are to regress as they mature.

What is Covered:

The Masters Program combines our Foundations Program and Core Skills & Manners Program into one guided path, covering your puppy’s most important developmental stages.

Phase 1: Foundations (10–16 weeks)
We focus on house manners, crate comfort, potty training, play biting, and early obedience skills such as sit, name recognition, and recall. This phase also prioritizes safe socialization and desensitization during your puppy’s critical learning window.

Phase 2: Core Skills & Manners (6–9 months)
We refine obedience, strengthen impulse control, and address adolescent challenges like leash pulling, jumping, counter surfing, and distraction work. This phase includes structured outings to help your dog succeed in real-world environments.

Together, these two phases give your puppy a strong start, a reliable follow-up during adolescence, and a smoother transition into adulthood with fewer setbacks.

Foundations Program

Core Skills & Manners

Program Lengths:

The Masters Program is designed as a two-phase journey — one stay during early puppyhood (Foundations) and a second during adolescence (Core Skills & Manners). The right length of stay depends on your puppy’s age, goals, and your family’s lifestyle. In general, the more time we have during each phase, the more reliable and consistent your puppy’s skills will be when they return home. Shorter tracks allow us to introduce and reinforce important behaviors, while longer tracks give us time to strengthen those habits, build reliability in real-world settings, and minimize regression between stages.

Two Weeks + Two Weeks

Base Bundle

A starting option that introduces your puppy to both Foundations and Core Skills. Each phase includes two weeks of training, giving your puppy a structured start and follow-up as they grow. Best suited for families who have the time and commitment to continue practicing consistently at home.

Three Weeks + Three Weeks

Most Popular

Our most popular option. Three weeks in each phase provides the best balance of structure, progress, and reliability. Puppies leave Foundations with strong house manners and early obedience, then return during adolescence to build impulse control, leash skills, and distraction-proofing. This track helps ensure a smooth transition through the first year with fewer setbacks.

Four Weeks +
Four Weeks

Maximize Results

The most immersive Masters option, designed for families who want to maximize consistency across both critical stages. Four weeks in each phase allows us to thoroughly establish early routines, strengthen socialization, and return during adolescence to refine skills with higher reliability and confidence. This is the best choice for busy families or puppies who need extra time to ensure long-term success.
