Puppy Preparatory was founded out of a need Jamie recognized while fostering hundreds of dogs over a nearly ten-year period. As a company, we never want to lose sight of our why. It is our mission to set puppies and their families up for success and reduce the number of dogs surrendered to shelters due to behavioral issues. Beyond that, we are dedicated to educating pet owners and supporting rescues in any way we can. 

 

While we absolutely love and adore dogs, we also have a passion for people. We keep our community at the forefront of everything we do which is why we support non-pet-related charities as well.

 

In 2023, we donated multiple Board & Train Programs to charity auctions supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Claire's Army which supports the families fighting childhood cancer.

This year, Puppy Preparatory opened their doors to three foster dogs, helping them learn important foundational skills which aided in finding their perfect forever home. Additionally, we provided supplies and made monetary donations to several rescues in the Carolinas. We are so excited to increase our impact in 2024!
